Cassewrong

My first ever attempt at making a casserole came about a week ago. Having ‘ummed‘ and ‘ahhed‘  up and down the aisles of the supermarket the previous week, I had equipped myself with an arsenal of ingredients that I assumed hoped would be satisfactory, even if they didn’t exactly match the items as listed in the recipe.

Yep, those are cannelini beans and cherry tomatoes, right there….

Breaking Through My Heart

Looking back through my photos from days out and walks in 2012 last night, I came across these images in a folder labelled King’s Wood. This is an area of woodland near the village of Winscombe; across the A38 from Axbridge and only a stone’s throw from Cheddar, which I blogged about on Sunday night.

Wall Cabinet Woes

With one-week left to go on my course at college, I’ve almost exhausted the allocated twenty-six hours allocated to work on this wall cabinet and yet, I’ve still got the doors to fit and hang. Just the doors left to hang...

My Latest Fix

If you’re a regular reader of my work and any previous WIP (work-in-progress) threads on the UKworkshop forum then, you’ll know I’m not someone who gets things right all the time! I’m not afraid to admit to all mistakes I make and I like to think if helps others to learn and prevent them (you!) from producing the same errors! I could never make a piece of furniture with one or two mistakes and then lie about it at the end; saying that it all went together perfectly – that’s just not me!
