To Shropshire

I’m officially heading to Shropshire in a couple of weeks, for my second camping trip/British adventure of the summer.

My pitch has been booked at the camp site and, in this post, I’m going to list a few of the items I hope to achieve there.

#Walk1000Miles – July 2016

I immediately feel as though this past month is going to be one in which I’ve ‘under-achieved’, when it comes to my overall mileage…

That’s in spite of recent attempts to ‘boost’ my tally over the weekend now behind us and, of course, the time I spent down in Cornwall.

Wellow Wander – July 2016

Saturday 9th July 2016

This was the weekend prior to my Cornwall trip. With little motivation to get up early on the Saturday, I still felt as though I should attempt something in preparation for the undulations of coastal walking to follow in seven-days’ time.

Sunday 29th May 2016

We approached this walk with a slight feeling of sadness, as it will be the penultimate walk in our challenge to walk the Somerset Coast Path in its entirety.

Setting off from one of the many free parking bays beside the seafront of Blue Anchor, we were destined for a finish at Porlock Weir.

#Walk1000Miles – May 2016

What happened to the month of May?!

Suddenly, it’s June. Yet, I’m fairly certain it was the end of April, only two weeks ago…

In that case, it’s time for a monthly review of my efforts in the Walk 1000 Miles challenge.

#Walk1000Miles – April 2016

I’m pleased to be able to write that April 2016 has become a small milestone for me, in my quest to walk one-thousand miles see how many miles I can walk within the space of a year.
